Six local elementary schools will participate in the 2016 art show competition at Fountain View Assisted Living, Friend-ship Village Sunset Hills.
The contest kicks off with an open house and public voting from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10. The show runs through April 17.
During the exhibition, visitors vote on the best school gallery display. Artwork from two schools will earn cash prizes of $1,000 and $500. St. Paul Catholic School of Fenton won the top prize last year, and St. Dominic Savio of Affton took second.
Schools participating in this year’s show include St. Paul Catholic School of Fenton, Holy Cross Academy of Crestwood, Providence Classical Christian Academy of Sappington, Most Sacred Heart of Eureka, Kennerly Elementary of Sappington and Salem Lutheran of Affton.
