The county Department of Planning will host an open house on the next steps for the Great Streets Gravois project Wednesday, April 5.

The open house will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the commons area of Affton High School, 8309 Mackenzie Road.

Discussion topics will include:

• Promoting Affton community pride.

• Enhancing pedestrian safety and improving parking options.

• A corridor traffic study has been completed — are lane reductions possible to create a main-street feel?

• Creating a funding source to cover costs of corridor improvements.
