Mary O’Keefe, daughter of Mike and Nancy O’Keefe of Fenton, and Kevin Chierek, son of Tim and Patty Chierek of Oakville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
O’Keefe, of Fenton, is a graduate of Cor Jesu Academy and St. Louis University. She is employed by St. Louis University Hospital of St. Louis as an intensive care unit nurse.
Her fiancé, Chierek is a graduate of Oakville Senior High School and Western Illinois University. He is employed by WAND-TV of Decatur, Ill., as a meteorologist.
The couple plan an April wedding at St. Catherine Laboure in St. Louis.
The two met in 2000 while attending Oakville Senior High School.
