Wray Richard Malsch, 69, of St. Louis, died unexpectedly Dec. 15.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Carol, of 48 years, daughter Michelle (Rich), sister Valerie, mother-in-law June, brother-in-law Scott (Patty), niece Julia, nephew Jason (Angie), great-nieces Savannah and Makenna, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Wray was a proud Marine Corps veteran. He loved to walk in the park with his companion of 11 years, his beloved Brutus. He also was a big football fan and especially fond of the Philadelphia Eagles.

He retired from pharmaceutical sales and soon after accepted a great opportunity as a substitute teacher at the Hancock School District.

He really enjoyed working at Hancock School District and working with the staff and the students.

Both visitation and a short memorial service were held Saturday, Dec. 28 at Kutis South County. He will be cremated and no burial is planned.
