William J. Moran (Der Kaiser) died Feb. 13 at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of Joanne Moran (nee Bugel), dearest father of Kathleen (Tom) Schutz; cherished opa of Jay Mollet, Mia (fiancé Patrick Murphy) Schutz, Patrick Schutz, Andrew Schutz; dear brother-in-law of Thomas (Shirley) Bugel and dear brother of the late Lois Moran
He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Bill proudly served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean war and served in the US Air Force during the cold war. He was an Eagle Scout, member of the Order of the Arrow, Deutscher Maennerchor, and was an NHL official for 25 years. He retired from the NGA after 52 years. Bill enjoyed traveling, and a good German beer. He loved God, his family, and his country.
