Richard H. Rudolph, 90, died Oct. 9.
Mr. Rudolph was in hospice care at the Nazareth Living Center, where he died with his loving family at his side.
He was a retired 70-year union carpenter and proud member of Boy Scout Troop 25 at Concord School.
Mr. Rudolph was a Navy Seabee during World War II.
He also supervised the construction of several well-known buildings in this area, including Sinclair Ford, Sinclair Buick (Art Haack Buick) and Ambs School.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Anna Lorraine Rudolph; son Richard Jr. (Maureen); and daughters Jane (Scott) Herzog, Lisa (Geoff) Grossbauer and Laura (Jim) Hafner.
Mr. Rudolph was especially proud of his seven grandchildren: Abbie Rudolph, Jake (Megan) Grossbauer, Josh (Nikki) Hafner, Ben (Nichole) Herzog, April (Andrew) Hafner, Jason (Sam) Grossbauer and Alex Herzog; and his two great-grandchildren: Maddie Grossbauer, 3, and Ryleigh Grossbauer, 8 months.
Visitation and services were at Kutis Affton Chapel.
Burial was in Sunset Burial Park.
