Oakville Middle students offer ideas to combat homelessness

Oakville Middle School sixth-graders presented ideas to combat homelessness and ‘make the world more awesome’ at a recent Poverty Project event. They consulted with experts and designed projects they implemented through nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity and Operation Food Search to fight hunger and homelessness, according to teacher Hannah Johnson.
