Oakville High student receives scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of South County recently presented the Missouri-Arkansas District Earl Collins Scholarship to Hannah Hoffmeister of Oakville High School. The Kiwanis district presents a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving high school graduate every year in each of its 27 divisions, and Hannah was chosen as the winner in Division 9. She will be attending the University of Missouri in the fall, studying journalism. She has already written and published five books in the ‘Dream Ring’ series for teenagers. South County Kiwanis Club President Judy Burnette, right, presents Hannah with her scholarship.
