Oakville Senior High School senior Kate Moulton recently had one of her editorial cartoons nationally recognized when it was published in the National Scholastic Press Association’s Best of the High School Press 9.
Moulton, opinions editor of Oakville High’s 2003-2004 The Prowl and last year’s news editor, had her editorial cartoon depicting school library visitation rules selected as one of the Best Newspaper Editorial Cartoons and Comic Strips from 2002-2003 high school publications.
The annual Best of the High School Press is a curtain call for more than 200 high school media programs.
