To the editor:
When I look back on my education, the educators I remember are those who motivated and inspired me to be and present my best.
For both of my sons, one of those educators at Oakville Senior High School has been Priscilla Reed. Apparently many other students share that sentiment be-cause the students have voted to give Mrs. Reed the honor of reading the names of the graduating seniors at this year’s commencement ceremonies.
What is unfortunate is that this will be one of Priscilla Reed’s last acts as an educator in the Mehlville School District. It seems that politics has again raised its ugly head.
For those who share our appreciation for the conscientious work and care Priscilla Reed has always exemplified, please make yourselves known to Mrs. Reed and congratulate her for the excellent job she has done. She will be truly missed.
