The inaugural Oakville Senior High School Hall of Fame induction will take place Friday, May 4, in the commons area of the school, 5557 Milburn Road.

The 1976 State Championship Soccer Team and the 1976 undefeated football team will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

A social period will take place at 6 p.m. while the induction ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.

The Hall of Fame Committee is raising funds to build new trophy cases that will showcase Oakville Senior High School’s athletic teams and individuals from the past. The trophy cases will be built and installed in the main entrance hallway by the main office.

Residents can help celebrate the inaugural Oakville Hall of Fame induction several ways:

• Tickets for the induction dinner are available through the Oakville Senior High School Athletics Department by calling Sandy Bovacanti at (314) 467-7202.

• Contributions to the Oakville Hall of Fame Committee can be mailed to Rob Farnam, 2904 Woodbridge Creek Drive, St. Louis, Mo. 63129.
