Nine-year-old Erika Bibas recently competed in the ‘Star Struck’ Production Dance Competition in Branson. She was named Junior Overall Soloist and awarded $100. Erika returned the next day for the Junior Dance Off and competed against five other participants. She was named Junior Grand Champion for her jazz solo to ‘Let’s Get Loud’ and awarded $1,000. Erika, the daughter of Kim and Ike Bibas of south county, has been dancing since she was 3. Her choreographer and instructor for the last five years is Caryn Potter of Premier Dance Company.
