‘Night Walk Into the Past’ set at Grant Historic Site

The Ulysses S. Grant Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, will present the 12th annual edition of the popular living history program, “A Night Walk Into the Past,” from Friday, Aug. 3, through Sunday, Aug. 5.

One lantern-lit performance will be offered each night. Attendees should arrive by 6:45 p.m. and the program will begin at about 7 p.m.

Although tickets for the program are free, space is limited and reservations are required. They may be made by calling the Visitor Center at (314) 842-3298, Ext. 245, or by stopping by the park. The program is not recommended for children under 5, ac-cording to a news release.

Appropriate shoes and insect repellent are recommended for the outdoor walking program.

The audience may sit during each character’s scene.

A limited number of camp stools will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the release. Visitors also may bring their own lawn chairs.
