Chris and Stephanie Niemann of Oakville announce the birth of their second child, Jason, 22 inches, 11 pounds, 2 ounces. He was born Jan. 8 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.

Elder child is James, 31⁄2.

Maternal grandparents are Bill and Denise Snyder of Oakville.
