To the editor:
Thank God for the newcomer, Michael K. Broughton.
I say “newcomer” because until just a couple months ago, I had never heard the name.
Now I can’t seem to open a newspaper without seeing one of his letters.
In the April 24 Call, the newcomer — Michael Broughton — dares incur the wrath of the big guy — Mike Povich — when he — the newcomer — takes him — the big guy — to task over the big guy’s letter on Iraq.
I say “thank God,” because now maybe the big guy — Mike Povich — will turn his attention toward the newcomer — Michael Broughton — and forget about me.
Hey, Mr. Broughton, you started it. Good luck.
