Neighborhood Watch meeting set in Green Park

A Neighborhood Watch Program for Green Park residents being organized by Ward 1 Alderman Anthony Pousosa will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at City Hall, 111000 Mueller Road, Suite 2.

“Improved police protection as well as more police visibility were one of my concerns that helped me make the decision to get involved in our community,” Pousosa stated in a news release. “It is my intention to help improve communication between Green Park residents and St. Louis County Police Department by re-forming the watch program. Since being elected alderman in April, I spoken to several residents with concerns such as traffic violations, drugs, robbery, just to name a few.

“The goal for the watch program in Green Park is not only improve communication with the police, but to encourage residents to communicate effectively with each other and work together to keep our city safe,” Pousosa added. “Please plan to attend. The key to the success of this program is resident involvement.”
