Once again, readers of Call Newspapers have outdone themselves, proving they are some of the best cooks in the nation.
The evidence is in the delicious submissions for the newspaper’s annual Home for the Holidays Recipe Contest.
The Call received too many entries for the recipe contest to count, and we thank everyone who took the time to enter.
Given the delectable taste sensations submitted, judges had the difficult but delightful job of selecting the victors for the 24th annual Home for the Holidays Recipe Contest, which is based on the 1995 film with the same name whose release was promoted in the Call.
This year’s winning recipes come from chefs in Oakville, Concord, Green Park, Sunset Hills and Waterloo, Illinois.
We urge readers to make these recipes for themselves, and in the process create new and lasting holiday traditions.
