The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber, Inc., will close three lanes on northbound and southbound Interstate 55 the evening of Thursday, June 23, through early morning Friday, June 24, for bridge painting, weather permitting.
Northbound I-55 between Reavis Barracks Road and the Union Road bridge will be closed from 10:30 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday.
Southbound I-55 from Bayless Avenue to the Union Road bridge will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday.
Only the right lane of each direction of I-55 will be open overnight.
Painting will take place on the new Union Road bridge completed last November.
