MoDOT plans lane closures on I-270 at Gravois, I-44

The Missouri Department of Transportation will have overnight lane restrictions on northbound Interstate 270 at Route 30 — Gravois Road — next week, weather permitting.

Crews will begin lane restrictions at 7 p.m. March 21 through 23 for pavement repairs. All lane closures will end by 5 a.m. the following morning, according to a MoDOT news release.

On Monday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 22, crews will close the right lane of northbound I-270 and the exit ramp to Route 30 —Gravois Road. At 8 p.m., crews will close a second right lane on northbound I-270. Motorists wanting to exit at Route 30 must continue north on I-270 to the Dougherty Ferry exit and turn around southbound on I-270 to Route 30.

On Wednesday, March 23, crews will close the exit ramp from northbound I-270 to eastbound I-44. When the ramp reopens, crews will close three right lanes on northbound I-270 over the I-44 overpass, including the westbound I-44 exit ramp.

Traffic wishing to access I-44 will continue northbound on I-270 to the Dougherty Ferry exit and turn around southbound on I-270.

Motorists may experience delays during this work and are encouraged to use alternate routes, the release stated.
