Enthusiasts of mid-centery modern architecture can join ModernSTL for a home tour through the historic Ridgewood neighborhood in Crestwood on Saturday, Oct. 13.
ModernSTL is a modern-architecture preservation group in St. Louis.
The Ridgewood neighborhood has 258 homes that were designed by local modern architect Ralph Fournier and built by Burton Duenke in 1951 to 1953.
The tour starts at 1313 Liggett Drive in Crestwood, with homes open for touring from 1 to 5 p.m., with refreshments and conversation following until 6 p.m.
Tickets for the home tour are $10 for ModernSTL members and $20 for non-members and are available for purchased at www.modernSTL.com. A limited number of tickets will be available at the event check-in.
