Amber Etheridge, the 22-year-old Miss Northwest, recently was crowned Miss Missouri 2003 at the pageant at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico.
Etheridge, a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, is a juvenile probation officer in Green County Missouri. She will represent Missouri at the Miss America pageant Sept. 20 in Atlantic City. The pageant will be broadcast on the ABC television network.
