Michael John Archibald died July 31.
Mr. Archibald was a paramedic for 26 years with the Mehlville Fire Protection District and a 26-year member of the In-ternational Association of Fire Fighters Local No. 1889.
Mr. Archibald received the St. Louis County Police Departments Citizen Service Citation in 1999 and the Mehl-ville Fire Protection Districts Medal of Valor in 2000.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Archibald; daughter, Katherine Archi-bald; father and stepmother, John and Georgia Archibald; fiancé, Casey Lucas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Debbie Archibald, Scott and Christa Johnston and Gregory and Tamara Johnston; sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Mike Hopper; and former wife and close friend, Beth Archibald. Mr. Archibald was preceded in death by his mother, LaRose Meadows, and brothers, Matthew Archibald and Steven Johnston.
Services and visitation were at Kutis Affton Chapel.
