Mehlville Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a house fire Monday on Butler Hill Road. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to MFPD officials. No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The MFPD was assisted by firefighters from the Rock Community and Saline Valley fire protection districts. The alarm came in around noon, according to MFPD officials.
