The Men’s Garden Club of Webster Groves installed newly elected officers and presented awards during its recent annual meeting and holiday celebration.

Charles Beard, Alice Mitchell and Steve Pozaric were installed as directors and will serve three-year terms ending in 2006. Kay Walt will continue to serve as secretary, David Poos is the new treasurer and Ann Case and Cherie Moody will continue to serve as co-first vice presidents. Alice Sargent will continue to serve as second vice president and Joe Logan will serve another year as president.

Scholarship awards with $500 stipends were awarded to Kori Agne and Jan Paul, students in the horticultural program at St. Louis Community College at Meramec.

The Master Gardener Award was presented to Nyla Hughes and the Outstanding Service Award was given jointly to David Poos and Doug English.
