Mehlville students will attend school April 25

Now that the recent winter weather pattern has ended, the Mehlville Board of Education and district administration is comfortable making a decision about the last day of school, according to a news release.
Without any adjustment to the current school calendar, the last day of student attendance would have been Tuesday, May 31, due to multiple snow days this winter.
The school board expressed a desire to avoid requiring students to return to school on the Tuesday after the Memorial Day holiday. As a result, the district has revised its school calendar as follows:
Students will attend school Monday, April 25, for a full day of classes.
The last day of school will be Friday, May 27.
Thursday, May 26, and Friday, May 27, will be half days for student attendance.
