The Mehlville School District is seeking volunteers to serve on a Community Advisory Council.

The Community Advisory Council will meet quarterly to review district issues and offer input and advice to the superintendent and Board of Education.

“We are looking for a cross section of the community to join us on the Community Advisory Council,” Superintendent Terry Noble stated in a news release.

“It would be great to have a membership base made up of parents, grandparents, single residents, senior citizens, business owners, private-school parents and home-school parents. We truly want to hear from our entire community.”

Those wishing to serve on the Community Advisory Council are asked to submit their name and telephone number to Sharon Peiffer in the Superintendent’s Office.

The first meeting of the council is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Administration Building, 3120 Lemay Ferry Road.
