The Mehlville School District’s Com-munity Education Department will offer a six-week Saturday golf program for students ranging in age from 9 to 16.
Each classes will be 90 minutes long, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The program begins Saturday, Sept. 17, and will run through Saturday, Oct. 22, at Pro-Am Golf on Union Road.
The golf program is designed for recreational purposes and is designed to give students the opportunity to learn the basics of golf, including grip, set, swing, putting and chipping, according to a district news release. It will also cover rules and etiquette.
The class costs $50.
Each student also is required to submit a permission form signed by a parent or guardian.
