The musical talents of the band and choir students from Mehlville Senior High School and Oakville Senior High School earned praise from the judges at the recent Missouri State Solo and Ensemble Music Festival on the campus of the University of MissouriColumbia.
The festival, which is sponsored by the Missouri State High School Activities Association, rated student performances on a scale of one to five, with a 1-Superior rating serving as the top score.
The Mehlville School District’s students gave strong performances at festival, which took place from April 26 to April 28, and were awarded accordingly:
