The Mehlville School District Legislative Advocacy Committee held its third legislative breakfast – a nonpartisan roundtable to promote discussion around elected officials’ priorities and the priorities of the district’s committee – on Feb. 22.
First District Sen. Doug Beck, D-Affton, 6th District County Councilman Mike Archer, R-Oakville, State Rep. Bridget Walsh Moore, D-Affton, and State Rep. Jim Murphy, R-Oakville, were in attendance, along with members of the Mehlville Board of Education.
The artwork of several Mehlville School District art students was on display, and four members of the Oakville High School choir performed, pictured above. Select students from various classes were also there to share their educational experiences and ask questions.
