Mehlville plans open house for virtual program

The Mehlville School District’s Virtual Program is opening its “virtual” doors to the homeschooling community by offering an open house to demonstrate how the Virtual Program provides benefit.

The open house will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at the Saint Louis County Public Library at 5430 Telegraph Road.

Resident families that chose to home school their children are invited to the informal open house to learn about this innovative program, according to a district news release.

“We really want to take this opportunity to let the community know how they can benefit from enrolling in our Virtual Program, with all the benefits of a regular high school curriculum, without having to really set foot in a high school,” stated Mark Catalana, director of alternate programs.
