A forum for four candidates seeking election to the Mehlville Board of Education will take place next week.

Board of Education President Cindy Christopher, Karl Frank Jr., board Sec-retary Marea Kluth-Hoppe and Ken Leach are seeking election April 5. The seats carry three-year terms.

The candidate forum, sponsored by the school district’s Citizens’ Advisory Com-mittee, will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, March 7, in the Learning Resource Center at Mehlville Senior High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road.

The forum will include introductory remarks by each candidate, a question-and-answer session and closing remarks by candidates. The forum will utilize the League of Women Voters ground rules, which include questions from the audience being submitted on index cards and strict adherence to time limits for responses.

The forum will be videotaped and replayed on Charter Cable Channel 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, and Thursday, March 17.
