Sarah McCarl of Mehlville has been awarded the Metro Business College Scholarship for the fall 2013 quarter.

This $1,200 scholarship is awarded quarterly based on applicants submitting an essay addressing why they chose their program of study, why they chose Metro Business College and how the scholarship would assist with their financial needs while attending school, according to a news release.

McCarl is enrolled in the Medical Assisting Program.
