Mary Lou Lawson (nee Ryterske), 72, died Feb. 1 at St. Anthonys Medical Center.
Born May 7, 1940, in St. Louis to Alex and Marian (nee Erbar) Ryterske, Mrs. Lawson resided in St. Louis.
A secretary for the Army Corps of Engi-neers, she retired in 2000 after 20 years of service.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Robert Lawson; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Susan Lawson; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Stephen Meyers; brother-in-law, Ronald Schlereth; five grandchildren; one nephew; and one great-nephew. Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Schlereth; and son, Kevin Lawson.
Services and visitation were at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery.
