Marcella Jarvis (nee DeArriba), 92, died May 16 at de Greeff Hospice House.

Born in St. Louis, Mrs. Jarvis resided in St. Louis. She was a founding member of St. Matthias Parish and a Golden Achiever member. Mrs. Jarvis also was an avid golfer who belonged to the Waterloo Country Club and a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and James Jamieson and Laura Knigge (Albert Hercules); sons and daughter-in-law, Everett “Rusty” Jarvis and Dennis and Kathy Jarvis; sister, Connie Messmer; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jarvis was preceded in death by her husband, Everett J. Jarvis.

Services were at St. Matthias Catholic Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
