Marcelien E. Schweiger (nee Doriot), 90, died May 26.

Born in St. Louis, Mrs. Schweiger resided in Concord Village.

She was past president of Froebel Parent Teacher Association, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 70 years and a member of the Winnebago Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years.

Survivors include her daughters, Carol “Lucy” Hacker and Joanna Dulle; sons and daughter-in-law, David “Buzzy’’ and Norma Schweiger and Herbert “Herbie’’ Schweiger; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Schweiger was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Schweiger; daughter, Karen “Susie’’ Hall; sons-in-law, Herbert Hacker and Michael Dulle; daughter-in-law, Barbara Schweiger; and granddaughter Mallory.

Services and visitation were at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
