A man attempting to rob the Southern Commercial Bank at 6969 S. Lindbergh Blvd. this afternoon — Jan. 24 — was apprehended at the scene, according to the St. Louis County Department.
County police officers from the South County Precinct responded to a call of a robbery at about 3 p.m. at the Southern Commercial Bank.
A man entered the bank and demanded money. He was apprehended at the scene, according to police. No one was injured.
County police detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons responded to conduct the investigation. Details on the apprehension, suspect and charges, will be available after review and if charges are issued by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office on Wednesday, according to police.
