The Lutheran South High School boys golf team took third place in the state tournament last month.
The team placed third with a score of 638 at the tournament, which was held at Old Kinderhook Golf Club in Camdenton on May 14 and 15.
Zach Shirley finished in fourth place individually with a two-day total of 146.
The third-place finish capped a 6-7-0 season for the Lancer varsity golf team.
