Toastmasters, a nonprofit organization with more than 12,000 chapters in 106 countries throughout the world, promotes improved communications through better listening, thinking and speaking.

South County Toastmasters meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at the MetLife Building on Tesson Ferry Road. Those interested in obtaining speakers or learning more about Toastmasters can call Carl Hendrickson at (314) 892-6451 or Howard Brandt at (314) 894-6003.
