To the editor:
What lessons and principles are “we the people” presently presenting to other nations? One major political party had over a dozen candidates trying to run for president for a few months, while the other party is still trying to defend the obvious failings and poor decisions of the current president … who a majority of American voters recently rejected.
How many decades will it take before enough people realize that almost all questions/decisions have only two choices: yes/no or higher/lower … and that we are no longer limited by weeks or monthslong 18th-century decision-making procedures and mechanics.
With our current technology, once or twice a month we could give all registered voters a convenient but controlled way to modify most quantitative decisions and override some yes-or-no decisions by local, state and national legislative bodies.
