Dr. Benjamin L. Guzdial, a local dental surgeon, recently was presented a resolution from the House of Representatives by Rep. Marsha Haefner of Oakville. The presentation was in conjunction with the Missouri Dental Board’s annual 50-Year Licensee ceremony — an award also presented to Guzdial. His career started in the Navy and then he went on to practice for 38 years at Cardinal Glennon Hospital, performing cleft palate surgery. He also had his own practice. After some personal health issues, he was able to start another practice. He currently is providing dental services in the Missouri State Penitentiary.
