Adam Bristoe, a Kennerly Elementary School third-grade pupil, has been selected as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s 2008 Boy of the Year.
Adam, a leukemia survivor, provided inspiration and motivation for the LLS Gateway Chapter Man and Woman of the Year candidates to raise more than $34,000.
He was honored at the LLS Team in Training Marathon event earlier this month in Orlando, Fla.
