Hats off to the Lindbergh Schools students and parents who found a creative way to help families affected by flooding last week. Students districtwide raised $9,772 through a series of Hat Day events. Lindbergh High’s Hat Day was set earlier this week. Parent leaders in the Concord Elementary School Parent Teacher Group spearheaded the effort. Concord had nine families affected by flooding, the most of any school in the district. Lindbergh counselors and social workers report that six families lost their homes districtwide, and several more experienced flood-related damage. Above, Concord Elementary School students and staff show off their crazy and creative hats.
