Lindbergh students mark Chinese New Year

Lindbergh Schools students celebrated the Chinese New Year last week with dragon parades and classroom celebrations. At Lindbergh Early Childhood Education, prekindergarten students in Shirley Phillips’ Piglet class celebrated the Year of the Monkey and learned about life in China. They made dragons and lanterns, wrote their names in Chinese, read stories, ate with chopsticks and celebrated with a dragon parade. The Chinese New Year celebration is an annual tradition for Phillips, left.
