Lindbergh seeks Hall of Fame nominations

Nominations are being sought for the Lindbergh High School Athletic Department Hall of Fame.

Former Lindbergh athletes who were top competitors in their sport or sports during their years at Lindbergh High School will be recognized.

From the list of nominations, the Hall of Fame Committee will consider the top five to eight individuals who earned the highest honors while competing at Lindbergh High School, according to a news release issued by the district.

Those who are nominated should have credentials such as: state champion, first-team All-State selection, All-State Athlete, finish in the top six in the state; All-Metro Honors, top three in the Metro area; All-Conference Honors, first team or multiple top three finishes; All-District Honors, first team or multiple top three finishes; and/or college honors.

If you are a former Lindbergh athlete or know a former athlete who qualifies for the Hall of Fame, contact in writing: Mike Slyman, athletics director, Lindbergh High School, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63126. Include the following information: the athlete’s name, year of graduation, sport or sports, honors and the nominator’s name and phone number.

The induction dinner for the Lindbergh Athletic Hall of Fame will be held on Friday, May 19.
