Lindbergh School District now making computers available to public for $5

The Lindbergh School District is making computers available to the public for $5 each.

The district replaces computers that are 5 or more years old and no longer function well in the district network. These computers have been declared surplus by the Board of Education and now are available to the public, according to a district news release.

The available computers are IBM EduQuest Model 45 — Intel 486 CPU, 66mhz or 100mhz, floppy drive, hard drive, keyboard, mouse and some with sound cards. They come with Windows 95 installed and work acceptably as word processors.

All computers are sold “as is.” Supplies are limited, and all sales are final.

Interested people should contact the nearest school and say that they are interested in a $5 computer. The schools are: Lindbergh High School, 4900 S.
