Lindbergh Schools will sponsor a forum next week for residents to hear from the nine candidates running for four open seats on the Board of Education in the Tuesday, April 4, election.
The moderated candidate forum will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in the Lindbergh Early Childhood Education multipurpose room, 4814 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
Seven candidates are running to fill three three-year seats on the Board of Education, and two candidates are running to fill a one-year seat.
The candidates for the three three-year seats are:
Cathy Carlock Lorenz
Kathleen “Kathy” Kienstra
Vicki Lorenz Englund
Christy Watz
Daniel Sampson
Matt Alonzo
Jennifer Bird
Kienstra is the current board president, and Englund is the current board treasurer.
The candidates for the one one-year seat are:
Martha Duchild
