The Lindbergh High School National Honor Society sponsored a drive to collect leftover Halloween candy and donate it to troops serving overseas through the USO’s Operation Gratitude. Operation Gratitude is organized by pediatric dentist Dr. Murray Appelbaum as a way to collect and donate Halloween candy in a healthy way. Students and teachers donated candy and NHS members also wrote letters of thanks and appreciation to troops. Pictured, from left, are: Sommer Schaefer, Mary Riley, Natalie Gibson and Lisa Gray.
