Lindbergh High School junior Kavita Krell recently received the Excellence in Languages Award from the University of Missouri College of Arts and Sciences, for her distinguished achievement and excellence in Spanish.

This award recognizes outstanding junior-level language students throughout St. Louis. Krell studies Spanish 4 Honors at Lindbergh High School, and maintains an impressive grade-point average and a very high percentage in Spanish 4 Honors, according to her teacher, Jim Beatty.

Krell is a member of the Spanish Honor Society, participates in golf and basketball, and plays the violin.
