The Lindbergh High School varsity boys’ swim and dive team finished 10th place with 84 points at the state championships this month.
Austin Mayer set a school record in the 200 individual medley event with a 10th-place finish of 1:58.81, a district news re-lease stated.
In the 200 medley relay, Jimmy White, Richard Le, Drew Wegman and Ethan Finlinson took 11th place with a time of 1:41.14; and the 200 free relay team took 11th place with a time of 1:30.39, an impressive performance by Wegman, White, Finlinson, and Christian Knuepfer, according to the news release.
In the 400 free relay, Wegman, Mayer, Finlinson and Knuepfer took 10th place with a time of 3:16.12.
Individual accomplishments at state include: Jordan Mayer: 500 free, seventh place; Wegman, 100 fly, eighth place; Knuepfer, 200 free, 13th place, and 100 free, 15th place; Austin Mayer: 200 individual medley, 10th place, and 100 fly, 11th place; and Le, 100 breast, 13th place.
