Lindbergh High School Student Council receives Gold Award

The Lindbergh High School Student Council recently received the Missouri Association of Student Councils Gold Award for successfully promoting student activities and leadership.

The group received the award at the annual Missouri Association of Student Councils, or MASC, Convention at Platte County High School in Platte City.

The Lindbergh High School Student Council was also recognized for its in-volvement in District Student Council, and state-level involvement, according to a district news release.

“Student councils and student leaders make a positive contribution to their schools and help create a positive educational climate,” Karen Haak, chairman of the MASC Honor Council Committee, stated in the release. “We congratulate you for providing an atmosphere where students and student council can play a vital role in your school.”

Lindbergh High Student Council advisers are Mary Grobe, Mark Pfeiffer, and Carena Heilich.
